Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
GYProjects takes your privacy seriously. This policy clearly explains which personal data we process, why we do so, and what rights you have. We process your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Data controller
The party responsible for processing your personal data is:
GYProjectsHoevelei 26
2630 Aartselaar, Belgium
Phone: +32 (0) 478 40 62 80
E-mail: info@gyprojects.be
2. What data we collect
We only collect the data you provide to us yourself via the contact form or when you contact us directly: your name, email address, phone number (if entered) and the content of your message.
In addition, for technical and security reasons, our hosting partner keeps limited log files such as your IP address and browser details. These are not used to identify you.
3. Why we process your data
We use your data solely to answer your question or quote request and to get in touch with you about your project.
The legal basis is your request for contact (pre-contractual steps) and our legitimate interest in being able to respond to your enquiry. We do not use your data for advertising without your consent.
4. Sharing with third parties
We never sell or rent your data. We do rely on trusted processors to run this website:
- Web3Forms — to handle and deliver messages from the contact form.
- Vercel — to host the website.
- Google Maps — for the interactive map (loads only after you choose to).
- These parties may process data outside the EU; in that case appropriate safeguards apply in accordance with the GDPR.
5. How long we keep your data
We keep your data for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a maximum of two years thereafter, unless we are legally required to keep it longer. After that it is deleted.
6. Cookies
This website sets no tracking or analytics cookies of its own. We do show a Google Maps map, however: it only loads after you explicitly choose to ('Load map'), and may then set cookies from Google. As long as you don't load the map, no external cookies are set. Fonts are loaded locally.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict your personal data, the right to object to processing and the right to data portability. You can exercise these rights via the contact details above.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels — www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
8. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including a secure (HTTPS) connection and modern security settings.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The date at the top indicates when it was last updated.
10. Questions
Do you have questions about this policy or your data? Feel free to contact us via the details above.
